CELEBRATE THE LITTLE THINGS....Alter it Monday

Life is made up of the little things in life joys, happiness, memories they are all part of the threads that make up our lives and I love creating things to celebrate those moments. For this months Alter it Monday I created a little birthday shrine which is the perfect gift for special people you meet on the path of your life.

PRODUCTS USED TO CREATE SHRINE

4 x 4 wooden block
Paper by Paper Studios
Star wire from Hobby Lobby mini Christmas products
Red grograin ruffle ribbon from Hobby Lobby
Gold sequin trim from Hobby Lobby
Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo
Stickles in Diamond
Dog image by Gecko Galz (see below)
Enjoy sentiment from Gecko Galz  "Charming Words"
Paper Piercer

Ink your block using the vintage Photo ink with your blending tool. then layer on papers that you have cut to 4x4 and then ink the edges.  using your paper piercer poke holes in the corners along back of block top. cut out your dog then ink edges with brown ink. Next lay down strip of liquid adhesive and set dog in it until dry.
using red line tape layer on sequin trim and ruffle trim around block.
Cut out the word "enjoy" and place wire in holes you punched then adhere on using liquid adhesive.
Finish with stickles on dogs hat and on star edges.
